Delicato Delicato

About

Salami Delicato claims its name from the delicacy and soft tones of flavors that are left behind by the spices that were infused in the wine overnight. Only the santoreggia (winter savory) is added, bold and fresh, a few hours before stuffing the links which bring a fresh flavor that lies on top of a slightly sweet background.

Handcrafted entirely by us at our USDA-inspected facility in Vermont.

Food & Farm Facts

In Europe, the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) protects the reputation of selected regional foods by eliminating the unfair competition and misleading of consumers by non-genuine products. In the world of cured meats, Spain has 11 PDO products, France has 2 and Italy has 29. Wouldn't it be fun if Vermont developed its own?
